Career Development Resources

For Students:

Placement Assistance

Placement assistance is available for all Coyne graduates. Individuals requesting placement assistance must register with the Career Development Office in person, provide current copies of their resumé and maintain contact with the office on a scheduled basis.

The Career Development Office continually surveys the job markets relevant to the courses and maintains active contacts with companies for placement purposes. Placement assistance efforts are concentrated in the fields of its courses, and our Career Development Office maintains an active file of job leads that is open to all students and graduates.

Online job searches provide many advantages to those who use them properly. Here are a few sites that can help:

For Employers:

Skilled Candidates

While most graduates are entry-level candidates, our pool covers a wide range of skills and experience, including individuals with many years of experience.

Resumé Bank

All graduates are encouraged to maintain resumés in our Career Development Office. At any time, we have resumés of hundreds of job seekers. We will match qualifications according to an employer's specifications and are happy to fax or mail resumés to employers upon request.

Screening

We offer applicant screening to save the employer time. This can include application and resumé screening, as well as interviews to locate specific skills and qualities.

Job Posting Board

We have a spacious job posting and information board where we will be happy to post your job information. Students and graduates read this board daily.

Part-Time/Temporary

Many of our students seek part-time and temporary work. We will post your part-time or temporary job information where our student body of over 500 will see it.

Company Tours

The Career Development Office will organize students to visit your company to see training applications and employment opportunities.

On-Site Recruitment

We will arrange facilities for employers to test and interview groups of graduates or students here at the school.

Guest Speakers

We invite any interested industry professionals to arrange a visit to our school and speak to students about industry topics. Our students eagerly listen to advice and information from within the industry.

Advisory Board

We invite all industry professionals to attend the semi-annual dinners of our advisory board, where the school's directors solicit input concerning trends in technology, management, training and competitiveness in American business and industry.
