Electrical Construction and Planning
As the population and economy grow, more electricians will be needed to install and maintain electrical devices and wiring in homes, factories, offices and other structures. Coyne's Electrical Construction and Planning program provides theory and practice in electrical and electronic basics, tool usage, test equipment, and safety. Studies include residential and commercial wiring, programmable controllers, and design and planning fundamentals. Hands-on exercises include conduit bending and installation, lighting, and control systems installation. Studies also include site and project planning, estimating and blueprint reading, fundamentals of supervision, and AutoCAD design basics, a general education component consisting of communications, humanities, social and life sciences, and math is also integrated into the program (AAS degree only)
